What’s the best way to make sure people talk about your network? Create buzz. And who better for the job than Buzz Aldrin?

As part of the historic Apollo 11 mission, the first expedition to the Moon, Aldrin embodies exploration and pushing boundaries, just like Verizon’s network.

This campaign not only showcases Verizon’s cutting-edge satellite technology but also revives one of the most iconic ad catchphrases: "Can you hear me now?" The message is clear: Verizon’s network now reaches the most unexpected places.

To close the circle, we also brought back Paul Marcarelli, the actor who once symbolized Verizon’s reliability, then left for the competition… and now returns full circle. Because in the end, the best network speaks for itself.

Results:
The campaign didn’t just go viral instantly, reaching major media outlets across the US, it also forced a last-minute change to T-Mobile’s Super Bowl spot (according to the company’s own CEO), dropping it to the 51st spot out of 57.
